Announcing the ZHL Awards

The ZHL Awards will be presented in a short program following the conclusion of the Tassadar Cup (times TBD). Voting on most awards will take place via secret ballot during the final week of the regular season. Finalists for these awards will be announced prior to the Tassadar Cup Playoffs, but winners will not be announced until the ZHL Awards show. Some awards will be determined based entirely on statistics and won’t require a vote. Voting for the Zoranis Trophy, similar to the Conn Smythe in the NHL, will be conducted immediately following the conclusion of the Tassadar Cup Final, during the ZHL Awards program, in the Twitch chat. The full list of Awards is as follows.

Team Awards

Tassadar Cup – Awarded to the ZHL playoff champion.
Artanis Cup – Awarded to the Probe League playoff champion.
Executor’s Trophy – Awarded to the ZHL team finishing the regular season with the best overall record (based on points).
Adun Trophy – Awarded to the Probe League team finishing the regular season with the best overall record (based on points).

Individual Awards

*Fenix Memorial Trophy – Awarded to the ZHL’s most valuable player in the regular season
*Colossus Trophy – Awarded to the ZHL’s top goaltender of the regular season.
Mertick the Mauler Trophy – Awarded to the player who leads the ZHL in total points at the end of the regular season.
*Aldrion Trophy – Awarded to the player who demonstrates the greatest defensive ability throughout the regular season.
**Zoranis Trophy – Awarded to the most valuable player for his team in the playoffs.
***Jim Raynor Award – Awarded to the ZHL owner (or GM) adjudged to have contributed the most to his team’s success.
Minos the Malevolent Trophy – Awarded to the top goal scorer in the regular season.
*Darsiris Trophy – Awarded to the Probe League player (appeared in less than 4 ZHL games) voted most likely to be on a ZHL starting lineup next season.
Immortal Trophy – Awarded to the goaltender, who faced at least 1 shot in net in at least 4 games, with the lowest Goals Against Average in the regular season.

*Determined by secret ballot in which the whole community may vote, conducted through the last week of the season
**Determined by vote in the Twitch chat following the conclusion of the Tassadar Cup Final
***Determined by secret ballot amongst the owners (or GMs) of ZHL teams and league officials, conducted through the last week of the season
